Good quality teriyaki chicken and rice. The bento is a good sampling for a reasonable price. Very nice, polite, and friendly service. The staff are excellent and courteous, always in a good mood and ready to serve up both food and a quick conversation. Clean spot. You can see the food made fresh.
Best and possibly only real sushi in East Boston. It’s very much a fast casual setting. Not a place for a nice sit down dinner but a quick bite or great for take out. Pretty high quality sushi and generous amounts of fish in the sushi. Great value!
Didn’t expect a good sushi restaurant around East Boston area, but this place is awesome! Fresh ingredients, great taste with decent price. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Will definitely return to try other different stuffs. My next favorite sushi place!

Came here while headed to a concert. The place is very clean and bright. The food was out quick and tasted amazing. The sushi was great. The teriyaki beef and chicken was out of this world. You get a lot for what you pay for so it is well worth it. Highly recommend anyone to stop in and try it.
Nice little Japanese takeout, express sit Japanese sushi and teriyaki bento box spot. Friendly staff, better than expected food at a good price. It’s a small spot with only a couple of tables, but worthwhile stop or takeout.
We had several sushi rolls green dragon, rock and roll and volcano. We had chicken and beef bento boxes. My wife didn’t want teriyaki in her chicken and they made it without sauce. It was good and tender. Worthwhile spot.
Grabbed a quick bite at Tori Japan which is in a small plaza off of Belmont St next to Monro. The staff were friendly and greeted you when you entered. We ordered beef teriyaki x2 and shrimp. The food was very tasteful and way better than your regular Sarku Japan. They cook it right there and then and it was pretty fast. Would go here again!
Amazing! This was the first time in Tori Japan and it was a 10/10 food temperature was perfect, prices are better than the mall, this place beats Sarku Japan with the fresh taste and overall atmosphere. They are even doing a special for an additional plate for $3.99. They also have sushi , and bento boxes ! The portions are perfect after your done eating you’ll feel full but not to the point where you feel lazy and can’t function. Also the customer service is 10/10.
The food was delicious and fresh. The teriyaki options are very similar to Sarku Japan, so if you’re a fan of Sarku, you’ll enjoy Tori which is just as good. In addition, they also have a variety of Sushi options
Tori Japan is fantastic! The chicken teriyaki is incredibly delicious, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The sushi is top-notch, with amazing taste. The staff here are super friendly and provide excellent service, making the dining experience truly enjoyable.
